<p>“We don’t judge our annual Southwest RV Supershow by attendance alone,” Ed Wilkins, TRVA State Show Chair said. “Our goal is to create a major stage for RV enthusiasts to meet the best of North Texas’ RV dealers, see the latest models, learn about the lifestyle and if ready, buy at special show pricing. From all indications both dealers and consumers considered the show one of the best in years.</p>
<p>Clark McEwen, Executive Director of the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association added, “Despite national economic concerns and high fuel prices, every type of RV, from $6,000 pop-ups to $800,000 Diesel Buses was purchased during the four-day show.”</p>
<p>A facebook fan of Goodtimes in my RV had this to say about the show, “We&#8217;ve gone for years&#8230;and really LOVED the addition of seminars&#8230;and&#8230;walked away with an incredible deal on our 2012 5th wheel!”</p>

<p>Dealer evaluations reflect the success of the show. For example, Jeff White, RV-Max commented, “Definitely the best Southwest RV Supershow we have ever participated in.” Scott Chaney at ExploreUSA RV Supercenter reported, “We had a good show and felt the traffic was strong. It was even better than 2010 &#8230; higher-end 5th wheels were our best sellers this year.”</p>

<p>Motor home dealer Kevin Ketner wrote, “Anicra RV decided early on to really do an outstanding job with our internal marketing (efforts) &#8230;banners, signage, giveaways, uniforms and a massive showing of 42 motor homes in the event. The crowd was plentiful and abundant with buyers that we will be working for months to come. With multiple motor home sales, our staff was very excited and especially pumped about our results.”</p>
<p>“Overall, this year’s show was a success for McClains RV SuperStores,” Nate McClain observed. “The traffic was definitely up for the 2011 show compared to 2010. Many of the families&#8230;seemed to be 1st time lookers or investigating the RV lifestyle for their future&#8230;,” he added.</p>

<p>TRVA Director of Special Events, Mary Claire Campos, noted that show vendors remained busy throughout the show selling RV related services and accessories. Vendor Travel EASY Decks by JnK Innovations, LLC , said, “We totally enjoyed the show. Tons of people came to see the full halls and parking lots of Market Hall. Thanks for organizing a successful show!”</p>
<p>The show, produced by the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association and its dealer members located throughout North Texas, has seen attendance increases along with strong sales for the last three years.</p>
<p>The Texas Recreational Vehicle Association (TRVA) is America’s first independent RV State Association. TRVA, the voice of the Texas RV industry, represents more than 300 RV dealers, manufacturers, campground/RV parks, suppliers and service firms, all united to promote and protect the RV industry in Texas.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>Dallas, Texas,</em> February 7, 2011 &#8211; The Dallas Vigilantes will hold their final open tryout camp on Saturday, February 12, and are guaranteeing at least one participant in the camp a chance to participate in the team&#8217;s 2011 training camp.</p>
<p>The tryout camp will be held at Gloria H. Snyder Stadium on the campus of Parish Episcopal School (4101 Sigma Road, Dallas, Texas 75244). Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the workout will start at 8:00 a.m. The cost of the tryout is $70 and can be paid in cash or via a money order. No personal checks will be accepted.</p>
<p>Arena Football League teams often find players during tryout camps who end up being valuable members of their teams. Following the Vigilantes&#8217; last tryout camp in November, the team signed three players &#8212; center Aric Flowers, defensive back Rickey McKinley, and defensive lineman Marco Cappola.</p>
<p>Additionally, the Vigilantes signed wide receiver Matt Fields and offensive lineman Ty Nsekhe following an open tryout the preceded the 2010 season. Both Fields and Nsekhe eventually became starters for the Vigilantes in 2010.</p>
<p>Players participating in the tryout camp should prepare for drills on artificial turf and bring cleats. Drills will consist of the 40-yard dash, short-shuttle, standing broad jump, and individual position workouts.</p>
<p>Individual position breakdowns will include quarterback, fullback/linebacker, offensive/defensive lineman, wide receiver, defensive back, and kicker.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>Dallas, Texas,</em> February 1, 2010 – The Texas Recreational Vehicles Association (TRVA) recently announced they have chosen Branding + Marketing Group as their marketing partner for the 2010 Southwest RV Supershow.</p>
<p>The Southwest RV Supershow is the largest show of its kind in the region and will feature over 400 RVs from over 15 dealers.  The show is set to take place at Dallas Market Hall September 16-19, 2010.</p>
<p>The 2010 show will be the second year that the management team of Branding + has partnered with the TRVA.  Last year a media mix of television, radio, newspaper, and direct mail led to strong attendance numbers despite the RV industry experiencing a tough year in the tumultuous economic climate.</p>
<p>Branding + Marketing Group will be teaming up with PR Firm Shiroma Southwest on the promotion and marketing of the show.</p>
<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to be representing the TRVA once again for their show this fall.  We were able to deliver a strong campaign last year, and we look forward to increasing attendance and show partners for 2010,&#8221; said Wayne Walker, principle of Branding + Marketing Group.</p>
<p>In addition to the responsibilities involved in creating a strategic marketing plan for the annual event, Branding + has also been tapped to redesign the TRVA online presence.</p>
